Finding a good place to start up your business

Renting a location in Singapore is expensive, the rates can go from a few hundred dollars for a small space to a few thousnad if you are to take up space in the core areas of town.

Renovation cost has to be factored in and there are also deposits and downpayment that you have to worry about before you can carry out your business proper.

This all adds to the worry of starting a business in Singapore and also the additional cost that you have to watch out for when you run your business and before you even start it you already spend a few thousand dollars.

A co working space may be the best idea for a start up that is time and cash strapped. Tables can go at $400 a month and you get to share the meeting rooms and also pantry and rest areas. This gives you a good amount of funds to be used for other uses such as marketing and you could also take on the synergy of the location to work with other fellow startups to build your business for the long term.
